Sara Salise: Nursing Pathway

Sara Salise

Ogden High

Class of 2019

Pathway Completed: Nursing

Ever since I took my first health class I knew I wanted to go into the medical field. After much thought and consideration, I decided I wanted to become a nurse. To start my career, I decided to take a CNA course my junior year in high school. I am currently a CNA at the George E. Wahlen Veterans Home and this is when I fell in love with my job. I started to meet with people to find out the steps to pursue. I took an internship at Weber State. Before I get into the program I have to take a year of prerequisites. I plan on getting my bachelors in nursing and then for my masters either in health administration or get my nurse practitioner license.
